ARE YOU STRESSED BECAUSE OF TOO MUCH DEBT?

 |  | Comments Off on ARE YOU STRESSED BECAUSE OF TOO MUCH DEBT?

In launching this endeavor, I’ve had to deal with my share of unsupportive friends and family.  What I’ve found is that it’s easy to get caught up with your own story and forget about how your experience is impacting you and/or those around you. It’s the same whenever you’re in a storm. All we see is ourselves, our situation, our expenses, our hurt, etc. But what if you took the focus off of you and put it on GOD or just put it on helping someone else who’s less fortunate than you. What if you were in my situation: angry about life, feeling guilty that you’ve allowed yourself to be in this financial hole, allowed resentment to haunt you to the point that it’s now given birth to other things like anger, bitterness, envy, strife, etc.

What if you’ve found yourself in a marriage driving the MACK Truck and struggling to keep the wheels on the road, and your spouse is driving the VOLKSWAGON – the new one with all the amenities of life, which by the way were paid for. What if you know he/she needs to be the head of the household but they can’t even handle the checkbook? They’re part of the reason you’re now faced with credit card adultery– (They’re sleeping with the ENEMY!); Okay, maybe you say it’s credit card addiction. Your spouse is addicted to the use of credit cards. It makes them feel superior, extra cash in their pockets, loose spending, traveling, etc.

You ask yourself, “What am I going to do”?

Here’s a Note: You’re the only one you can change. You must be willing to allow yourself to heal from whatever pain or suffering you’re going thru. The sooner you identify the problem and forgive yourself, the sooner you’ll be able to move on with your life and do more than just survive.  You can now STRIVE!!!  Forgiveness is a POWERFUL TOOL.
